I'm sure most of you know about the amazing painting of George I received for my birthday from Allison since I've put it on every social media outlet as well as just randomly telling coworkers and friends about it, but as I am absolutely obsessed with it I think it warrants a blog post, too!
Allison's mom is an amazingly talented painter and once when I was over at Allison's apartment I commented on a beautiful painting that Allison said her mom did of a woman in a dress. I immediately asked if I could commission her to paint George. I then emailed her tons of pics of George for inspiration :)
No way did I expect to receive such an extravagant gift for my birthday! When Allison gave it to me at my birthday dinner at 5 Seasons Brewery a couple weekends ago I shrieked (literally) when I opened it.
